You are shown to one of our 17 private rooms and given time to settle. Your therapist talks through the oils with you first, so the scent you spend the next hour with is one you actually like.
Warmed oil is worked across the whole body in long, flowing strokes that follow the muscle rather than digging into it. The rhythm stays slow and even throughout — that consistency is what makes it easy to switch off.
The strokes lighten towards the end rather than stopping abruptly, and you are left to come round in your own time before getting up.
Body Aroma is a relaxation massage by design, so the pressure sits in the light-to-medium range and stays there. If you want firm work on specific knots, our Full Body Massage or the Shoulders, Knees & Toes session is the better fit — tell us when you book and we will point you to the right one.
Your therapist still checks the pressure suits you in the first few minutes, and you can ask for lighter or firmer at any point. The oils are chosen with you beforehand, so mention any scent you dislike or react to.
Most guests feel unhurried and a little sleepy afterwards — that is the intended effect, so try not to schedule anything demanding straight after. The oil stays on the skin, and we suggest leaving it a few hours before showering so it has time to absorb.
Drink plenty of water after your session and through the rest of the day. It is the one piece of aftercare we ask of every guest, whichever treatment they have had.
