You are shown to one of our 17 private rooms and given time to settle. Your therapist asks where you are carrying tension and what pressure you want before anything starts.
The session works methodically head to toe rather than concentrating on one area — back and shoulders, arms, legs and feet — so nothing gets missed. Where you have flagged a tight spot, more time goes there.
Work lightens towards the end and finishes with broader, calmer strokes, so you are not going straight from deep pressure to standing up.
You set the pressure before the session begins and can change it at any point. This is the treatment where that matters most: the same 60 minutes can be a firm, work-it-out session or a broadly relaxing one, and the difference is entirely what you ask for.
Your therapist checks in during the first few minutes and watches for the signs that arrive before anyone speaks up — tensing, a change in breathing. Saying “a bit lighter” halfway through is completely normal and expected.
Most guests feel looser and noticeably less stiff, particularly through the shoulders and lower back. If firm pressure was used on a tight area, mild tenderness there for a day or so is normal and settles on its own.
